His teacher describes Jake’s math performance as “on grade level.” Jake is well-liked by his classmates and his teammates on his soccer and baseball teams. Jake’s parents describe him as an “easy kid” and report having “no concerns”.

Based on the scenario above, analyze Jake’s current development in connection to the research on typical early childhood (ages 5-8) growth and milestones.
