Individuals who have the financial means to do so can purchase the services needed to age in place. For those who don’t have the financial means to purchase services at market rate prices the options become limited if not non-existent. Many low-income seniors depend on either Medicaid waiver or OAA funded community based services however these programs frequently have waiting lists.

Write a 2-3 page paper that discusses potential changes in policy, programming and/or services that could help alleviate the challenges of aging in place for those with limited income.
